Why is Color By Number Pages Good for Kids?
Kids will learn how to visually discriminate between numbers in multiple ways: counting fingers, counting dice blocks, and counting cubes. Using these different types of number symbols, keeps kids engaged in the activity while also teaching them to subitize (see objects, and know how many there are without counting).
As they color each space on the activity sheets, they’ll also get a lot of practice with recognizing colors (including different shades of colors). And, of course, coloring is a great way for them to continue developing their fine motor skills.
