- Game End Options:
- For a group game, play until all the feathers are gone and everyone wins!
- For a competitive game, play until the feathers are gone, count the feathers, and the player with the most feathers wins!
✂️ How to Prepare the Game
- Print the turkey template and spinner (download below).
- Cut out the turkey head, wings, and spinner pieces.
- Attach the turkey parts to a colander using tape — this makes a fun base for the feathers to stick out of.
- Create your spinner:
- Laminate or glue the spinner onto cardboard or a cereal box for durability.
- Cut out the spinner and the feather-shaped spinner pointer.
- Use a brad or push pin to poke a hole through the center.
- Place a paperclip over the center so it can spin freely.
💡 Extra Fun Ideas
- Have kids use tongs or tweezers to pull feathers for added fine motor skill practice.
- Give them oven mitts for a silly challenge — it’s guaranteed to get some laughs!
- Use real craft feathers for a tactile twist, or paper ones to color and personalize.
