How to Make This Fall Rhyming Printable Pack free
Print and prep your pack — Start by printing out all 10 activity pages on standard printer paper. If you want to make some of the pages last longer, go ahead and laminate them before you start — that way kids can use a dry erase marker and wipe them clean to use again and again!
Set up the rhyming puzzles — Cut apart the zigzag puzzle pieces so each rhyming pair is separated. Kids match them back together by finding the two pictures whose names rhyme — like pie and tie, or rake and cake. We love how the interlocking edges make it self-checking, so little ones can feel confident when the pieces fit just right!
Work through the circle activity — On the Circle the Fall Rhyming Words sheet, kids read through the words and circle the ones that rhyme. There isn’t a wrong way to approach it — let them work at their own pace and celebrate every match they find!
Try the cut-and-paste page — For the Fall Rhyming Cut and Paste sheet, kids cut out the picture boxes at the bottom and glue them next to their rhyming match. We like to let kids cut their own pieces when they’re ready for it — it’s great practice and they feel so proud doing it themselves!
Prep the clip cards — Cut out the clip cards and grab a handful of clothespins. Kids look at the picture on the left side of each card, then clip a clothespin onto the word on the right that rhymes with it. These are great for building those fine motor skills at the same time as practicing rhyming! Laminate them first if you want a set that holds up to lots of use.
Fill in the missing letters — The two Fill in the Letter pages invite kids to look at a rhyming picture and then complete the word by writing in the missing letter or letters. These are perfect for laminating so you can use a dry erase marker and practice over and over. We kept a set in our homeschool binder for repeat practice all season long!
Finish with the picture match — On the Fall Rhyming Picture Match sheet, kids draw a line connecting each picture on the left to the picture on the right that rhymes with it. There’s no wrong way to work through it — just encourage kids to say the words out loud as they go. Hearing the rhyme out loud is half the fun! You’re all done — great work!

If you’re homeschooling, it’s easy to pull out the pages that are the right challenge level for your child and save the others for later.
How long does it take to complete the activities?
That really depends on how many pages you use in one sitting! Each individual activity takes just a few minutes, so you can use them as quick warm-ups, center work, or early finisher activities. If you sit down and work through all ten pages together, plan for maybe 20–30 minutes total — though kids who love the clip cards and puzzles may want to go back and do those again and again!
Is this activity messy?
Barely at all! Most of the pages just need a pencil or crayon, and the clip cards only need a clothespin. The one activity that gets a little hands-on is the cut-and-paste sheet, so just have a small pair of scissors and a glue stick nearby for that one. Super easy to set up and clean up — which is always a win.
Can these activities be reused?
Yes, and that’s one of the things we love most about this pack! If you laminate the clip cards and some of the other pages, kids can use a dry-erase marker to write their answers and wipe the pages clean to use them again. The clip cards are especially fun to laminate because kids can clip and unclip the clothespins as many times as they want. It makes the whole pack feel like a little learning kit they can come back to all season long.
