Leprechaun Paper Bag Puppet or Treat Bag?

You can decide how you want to make your craft. The directions include the steps on how to make a Leprechaun PAPER BAG PUPPET so kids can put it over their hand and put on a St. Patrick’s Day puppet show

or make a Leprechaun Paper Bag TREAT BAG for kids to put St. Patrick’s Day goodies in… my kids always loved chocolate gold coins and rainbow-colored treats.

How to Use this Leprechaun Gnome Themed Printable

As with all of my printable packs, this is so simple to use. All you have to do is download the file, print out however many copies you need, and follow the simple cut-and-glue instructions.

The template comes with two options:

  • Single Print Craft Template that should be printed out on white paper, then the pieces cut out, and traced onto colored paper.
  • The Classroom Set Template lets you print multiple of the same craft pieces directly onto colored craft paper. This eliminates the need to trace the template (saving time) and is much easier for those who are crafting with more than one child like at school, the library, or in a homeschool co-op.

And you don’t have to go on a big shopping trip. You just need colored craft paper, scissors, glue, and a lunch-sized paper bag. If you want to trace the template, you can also grab a pencil, but that’s not required.

Want to be able to add personal touches? Experiment with the colors of craft paper! Don’t feel limited to oranges and greens. You can also use white craft paper and color the leprechaun gnomes with crayons, markers, colored pencils, or whatever coloring tools you have on hand. Or add even more fun details with glitter, doodles, or stickers. There’s no limit to how creative you can get!

Can Kids Color the Leprechaun Template?

Totally! Use the Single Craft Template to print on white paper, then kids can color their craft pieces with pencils, crayons, or markers. Once they are done adding finishing touches, they can cut out their craft pieces and assemble the craft following the directions.

All that matters is that you have fun.

Enjoy!
