St. Patrick’s Day is coming soon so get ready for some leprechaun fun with this FREE Leprechaun Color and Label Worksheet. It’s a fun and easy activity to add to your festivities at home or school. While children are completing the activity they will be working on fine motor skills as they color and cut, as well as reading skills when they label the page. It’s a fun and silly activity that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

Kids can color the leprechaun, and then label parts of the picture with the labels at the bottom of the page. They can “learn” about leprechauns to help them prepare for St. Patrick’s Day or plan their leprechaun trap. How to Use the Color and Label Activity

Download the free pdf file.
Print on white paper.
Color the leprechaun with crayons, pencils, or markers.
Cut out the words at the bottom of the page.
Have your child name the object at the end of the Word Box Line.
See if they can find the word or help them find the word and use a gluestick or school glue to glue the word in the box.
- Tip: This is a great time to help beginning readers identify the first letter of the word they are looking for.
  - “We are looking for the word “hat.”
  - “What is the first sound in the word “h-h-hat”? —“h”
  - “What letter says “h”? —The letter H
  - Can you find the word that starts with the letter H?
