Paper Plate Turkey Craft for Kids
Supplies:
Paper plate
Coffee filter
Glue
Paint brush
Brown paint
Brown paper
Orange or yellow paper
Markers
Water
Yellow paper
Scissors
Googly eyes (optional)
Directions:
1. Fold coffee filter in half, draw on it with markers, then use a clean brush to spread water on it and watch the colors mix and spread. This part Ms. Tiger loved-“it was magic!” Set the coffee filter out to dry.
2. Cut the paper plate in half and paint the bottom of it brown and set it out to dry.
3. Cut out a circle from your brown paper for the turkey head. Cut out a small triangle from your orange paper for the beak.
4. Glue googley eyes and beak to the turkey head. Once the paper plate and coffee filter are dry, glue the coffee filter to the paper plate, and glue the turkey head on top of the coffee filter.
