The Whale Card Craft Template comes with several options to best fit your situation. I included a template to print 1 Craft at a time and Classroom Set templates so you can print several pieces on the same paper to cut down on paper waste.
I also included the card template with the words “I Whaley Love You” printed on it and a card template without words so you can choose to write your own special message.

Directions: How to Make Whale Card
For your convenience, I included printable directions with the PDF download. Happy Crafting!
Step 1: Print the Craft Template Out
Option 1: Print the whale template out on white paper and use crayons, markers, or paint to color the whale and water.
Option 2: Print the whale template out on colored paper.
- Whale-Blue or gray
- Whale Tummy-Color of your choice (Pink, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple…)
Step 2: Prepare the Card Paper
Fold a piece of paper in half, then in half again to make a card or print out the card template and cut along the solid line and fold along the dashed line in the middle.
Step 3: Cut Out the Template
Use your scissors to cut out the whale, waterspout, and tummy.
Step 4: Assemble the Card
Glue the whale on the front of the card. Glue the waterspout on the top of the whale’s head. Glue the whale’s tummy at the bottom of its head.
Step 5: Add Details
Use your black marker to draw a face on the whale’s head.
Use your blue marker to draw water for the whale to swim in.
Draw hearts with your red marker.
Write down the quote “I Whaley Love You” or you can also write down your own fun Whale pun quote.
