Kid’s can use their cute little hands to make a lucky four leaf clover to hang on the wall this St. Patrick’s Day! One of our favorite types of crafts are Handprint Crafts so it was about time we made one with a little green for all Leprechauns to enjoy. Whenever we make handprint crafts my kid’s always laugh hysterically which might be why we keep making them–that and we’ve figured out how to avoid painted handprints all over the house 🙂

Directions:
Cover child’s hands with green paint. Make sure to put enough on so the handprint turns out nice.
Gently press the child’s hand on the paper. I like to put my hands on top of theirs to prevent any wiggling or sliding. You may need to make a few prints before getting the perfect one.
Cover child’s hands with green paint again and make a second set of handprints making sure the finger tips are pointing out and the palms are pointing inward to make a clover shape. Now is a great time to hand your child a baby wipe to clean their hands before paint gets everywhere.
Use the glue to outline a shamrock shape. Sprinkle glitter on the glue and shake off the excess onto an extra piece of paper so you can carefully funnel it back into your glitter container to reuse.
Cut out a stem from the green paper and glue it to the shamrock. Once it is dry the craft is ready to be hung up or turned into a St. Patrick’s Day card.
