These little handprint ghosts look like they are saying, “Boo,” with their hands up ready to trick anyone who is watching on Halloween night. This craft is simple to make and adorable to look at because it features your kiddos handprints and their artwork. No ghost will look the same and since ghosts don’t have a definite shape, anyone who can hold a paintbrush can paint one making this a perfect craft for kids of all ages, including baby, toddler, and preschooler (with help of course).

Supplies:
Black paper
White paint (I like to use this white acrylic paint because it goes on thicker and shows up brighter)
Paintbrush
Glue
Black pen
Directions:
Coat the child’s hand with white paint and make a handprint on the black paper. Repeat with their other hand and set aside to dry. When making handprint crafts it’s always a good idea to prepare for the mess and have baby wipes on hand to clean up.
Have the child paint a ghost on the paper however they like. Little Tiger painted an outline and then colored it in and added dots around the edge. Little Dragon went for a more freestyled approach adding swishes and dots where he pleased. Set aside to dry.
Cut out the handprints.
Have the child glue on the handprints and googly eyes, and then have them use the pen to draw a mouth. Now their little ghost is ready to say, “Boo!”
