3/4 C. Tapioca Starch
2 C. Water
1/4 tsp Jello or Food coloring (optional)
I found our tapioca starch in a local Asian market. It is used as a thickener similar to corn starch.
Just to give you a heads up, this slime is SUPER sticky which I think makes it SUPER fun to play with. We had to wash our hands with a lot of soap and water to get clean, but the kids didn’t mind after all the fun they had.
To store, I placed our slime in an air tight container in the fridge.
1. Put all ingredients in a pot. Place on the stove on medium heat and stir constantly until it thickens and turns translucent. Our batch was ready in 5 minutes.
|All slime ingredients mixed up in the pot. It looks white at first and will turn translucent when ready.
2. Let slime cool down so it’s safe to touch, then let kids play, stretch, and squish the slime for a fun sensory experience.
