A New Edible Slime Recipe
Make this sticky, stretchy, taste-safe slime for a new sensory play experience.

Supplies:
3/4 C. Tapioca Starch
2 C. Water
1/4 tsp Jello or Food coloring (optional)

I found our tapioca starch in a local Asian market. It is used as a thickener similar to corn starch.

Just to give you a heads up, this slime is SUPER sticky which I think makes it SUPER fun to play with. We had to wash our hands with a lot of soap and water to get clean, but the kids didn’t mind after all the fun they had.

To store, I placed our slime in an air tight container in the fridge.

Although all the ingredients are edible, please don’t let kiddos eat the slime as a snack.

Directions:
1.  Put all ingredients in a pot. Place on the stove on medium heat and stir constantly until it thickens and turns translucent.  Our batch was ready in 5 minutes.

All slime ingredients mixed up in the pot. It looks white at first and will turn translucent when ready.
Ingredients have cooked, and the slime is ready to play with. I added some jello to give it color.

2.  Let slime cool down so it’s safe to touch, then let kids play, stretch, and squish the slime for a fun sensory experience.
