Paper party horns are a fun and festive craft that kids love making and using. They’re especially popular for New Year’s Eve celebrations, but they also work well for birthdays, holidays, and classroom parties. This easy kid craft uses simple supplies and gives children a playful way to celebrate while creating something they can actually use.

The other day we where bored and stuck inside and needed to have some fun, so we came up with an easy craft to liven up our day. I wasn’t planning on sharing our paper horns, but the kids have been playing with them like crazy so I had to share them with you. I hope your kiddos enjoy them just as much! They are super easy to make (no gluing required) and perfect fun for all ages.

These paper party horns are great for so many occasions, including:

  • Birthday parties
  • Holiday parties and family gatherings
  • Classroom parties or school celebrations

  • Pretend play and imaginative games

How to Make Paper Party Horns

Paper Party Horns: Easy Craft for Kids

Supplies:
Ribbons/Tinsel/Streamers
Craft paper
Tape
Markers/Do-a-Dot markers/Stickers

Directions:
Making Paper Party Horns

1.  Decorate craft paper and tape ribbons to the paper.

Ms. Tiger loved using our dot markers. She realized if she pushed them down fast, they made a splat.

2.  Start with one corner and roll the paper at an angle to make a cone with a small opening on one end to blow into and a larger opening at the other end for the fun noise to come out of.

3.  Secure the paper with tape on the side of the horn, then tape the small end of the horn to protect the paper from spit.
