Looking for a simple and educational Easter activity? These DIY Easter Egg Color Match Puzzles are easy to make using free paint sample cards and offer a great way to boost your child’s concentration, problem-solving, and visual discrimination skills. Supplies:
- Paint samples (I used Behr paint samples)
- Scissors
- Egg pattern (I folded a piece of paper and cut one out of cardstock)
Directions:
Cut egg shapes out of the paint samples. Cut the eggs in half. You can chose to cut them straight across or cut a different pattern into each one.
Once your shapes are cut, you can use them as a matching game, either face up or upside down, like a memory game. Optional: Glue magnets to the back to keep them together on a metal cookie sheet.
These puzzles are perfect for quiet time, travel, or tossing into a busy bag for screen-free fun on the go. Plus, they’re a great low-prep learning activity to keep little hands busy while celebrating the season!
