We filled our glove with marshmallows to make Santa’s beard. We put hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes into our bag. You could also fill Santa’s beard with white popcorn, white chocolate, small peppermints, white buttermints… really anything would work, especially if it is white. Another options is to fill it with cotton balls for a no-sugar alternative. If you need ideas of what to put inside your bag check out 35 Easy and Cute Holiday Treat Ideas.

**I purchased my Food Grade Plastic Gloves from Michael’s Craft Store after Halloween. I think they were originally sold to make Witch Hand Treats that are so popular. The link to the gloves in the supply list are a different type of glove that should work, but may look different then mine. If you can’t find Hand Shaped Bags online or at your local craft store you can also cut out a beard out of white paper and give Santa a more traditional look. Either way, all will be happy to receive it.

DIRECTIONS:

Hi, You can watch our mini video tutorial or continue reading below and print out the directions.

Select which template you want to use (Color version or Black and White version) and print the pieces out on white paper.

To make Santa’s beard, fill a food grade plastic glove with treats. We used mini marshmallows. Each marshmallow had to be maneuvered into the fingers. Once full, fold the top over and staple closed.

If you are using a paper bag you will need to cut out the belt and glue it to your paper bag. Then trim the sides of the belt off to fit the bag. Now you can fill your bag with treats and staple the glove to the bag.
