Children can use crayons or markers to trace over letters on the cover of the book, underline beginning letters in the book (F for fish…), and the font looks like lined paper so they can see correct spacing. Supplies:
- Who Lives in the Ocean Book (Available to download at the bottom of this page)
- Scissors
- Crayons or markers
- Stapler
Directions:
1. Have kids color pictures and cut out the pages along the dark black line.
2. Arrange pages and staple the book together on the left side of the book.
My daughter loves reading her new book! When she gets ready to read she calls for Little Dragon to come sit next to her and she “teaches” him to read too by having him repeat what she is saying…because of this, our ocean book is my new favorite!
