Ocean Animal Suncatcher Craft
Supplies:
- Ocean Animals Pattern (Available for download at the bottom of this post)
- Watercolor paints (This Watercolor Paint Set is our favorite because the colors turn out nice and bright)
- Paintbrush (Use a Watercolor Paintbrush or soft bristle paintbrush if possible to help avoid tearing)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Dark blue or black paper (This is our Favorite Paper for Crafts)
- Coffee Filters-White
Directions:
1. Have your child paint their coffee filter and set it out to dry. The darker the paint the better because it does tend to lighten as it dries.
2. Print out the animal pattern on dark blue or black paper and have your kiddo cut them out.
I printed our pattern on black paper and I was able to see the lines well enough to cut the animals out for Little Dragon. Little Tiger said she couldn’t see them very well so I printed her pattern on dark blue paper.
3. Glue the animal to the coffee filter and the craft is done!
