We made a quesadilla ghost, a quesadilla spider, and a quesadilla mummy, you can also make a quesadilla pumpkin (if only I had more kids I would have made one too).

Halloween Food Quesadillas

I made these right before dinner in just a few minutes. My favorite thing about making food look cute is it increases my chance that my kids will eat it with no mom-nagging required. For example, I can make a plain quesadilla for my kids and have to tell them to take each bite or I can add a smile and some eyes to their quesadilla and it disappears!

***Make sure adults are handling the hot food until it is safe for children to eat.***

You can make them on your own to surprise your kids or make a yummy food craft project with your kids.

Mummy Quesadillas

Mummy Quesadilla

Cut one tortilla into strips.
Sprinkle the bottom tortilla with cheese.
Use olives to make a face or a FOOD COLOR pen to draw one on.
Add tortilla strips to “wrap the mummy up.” Bake in oven at 350 degrees or microwave until the cheese is melted.

Spider Quesadillas

Spider Quesadilla

Fold a tortilla in half and fill it with shredded cheese.
Cut 8 strips of tortilla, and fold them to make the legs.
Use olives to make a face or a FOOD COLOR pen to draw one on. Bake in oven at 350 degrees or microwave until the cheese is melted.
