Students can use these Easter egg themed language mats to match letters, spell words, and write letters. The printable set is designed to increase in level as your child learns.
Send the kids on a letter hunt with Easter eggs using our free printable letter match activity. This activity comes with two sets of letters, 2 mats (1 for just matching and the 2nd one for matching and writing), and a couple of three letter words for your budding reader. You don’t have to cut out each individual egg because 26 letters x 2 sets = too much time. So now you know I kept things simple, all you have to do is keep reading and download the free printable below…Easter is coming! 🙂 While you are visiting be sure to check out all our Easter activities here for more fun ideas.

Here are my kiddos busy at work. Watching them enjoy learning together is one of my favorite parts about doing activities like these at home. I am guessing you know exactly how I feel :).

Directions:
To prepare the activity cut out the ABC strips and/or the word strips.
Laminate the letter mats. This step is optional unless kids will be writing letters on the mat, in which case the mat has to be laminated so it can be used over and over again with a dry erase marker.
For either of the following activities you can match uppercase to uppercase letters or uppercase to lowercase letters or vice versa.
If your child is beyond needing letter recognition practice you can cut the eggs out and use them to spell CVC words.
