I remember my mom talking about warm fuzzies and cold pricklies with her kindergartners. Warm fuzzies are the nice feelings that we feel when people are nice to us or that we can give to someone else by being nice to them. Cold pricklies are the not nice feelings that we feel when people are mean to us or that we can give to someone else by being mean to them. I always loved those terms for teaching about feelings. We used our Fuzzy Love Bugs to talk about warm fuzzies and how to share them with those around us. Then we shared our Fuzzy Love Bugs with our friends to help them feel warm fuzzies!

- Fuzzy puff balls*
- Craft foam hearts*
- Googly eyes*
- Pipe cleaners*
- Glue dots and or glue
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS
Use a glue dot to stick a puff ball onto a heart. Glue a smaller puff ball onto the first one to make the head. The glue dots stick really well to the puff balls. You really only get one chance to place them on so make sure you are putting it where you want or you can use regular glue.
Glue googly eyes onto the head.
Cut out pieces of pipe cleaner and glue them to the head. We used glue dots to hold them in place.
