Paper Santa Kids Craft: Easy to make with kids for a Merry Christmas

This is the first year my daughter (age 4) sat on Santa’s lap without protest and thought of things for Santa to bring her like playdough and Shopkins. Santa fills our Christmas stockings only so it limits the size of request… What fun things are your kiddos wishing for?

Paper Santa Kids Craft: Easy to make with kids for a Merry Christmas

Supplies:
Red, black, tan, yellow & green craft paper
Glue
Scissors
Cotton balls
Googly eyes
Pen

Directions:
1.  Fold the red paper in half long ways and cut it down the middle. Fold the corners down to form a triangle at the top of one of the halves, and put the other half to the side. You only need one half per Santa.

2.  Cut out a rectangle from the tan paper, then round off the edges to make kind of an oval shape for Santa’s face. You may need to draw a line for children to follow. Glue the googly eyes on and draw Santa’s mouth.

3.  Use the cotton balls to decorate Santa’s hat and beard. Then cut a strip of black paper for Santa’s belt, and yellow paper for Santa’s belt buckle.
4.  Glue a little decoration on Santa’s hat and your done 🙂
