My kids love making crafts they can play with like our Toilet Paper Roll Space Shuttles and Soda Bottle Space Rockets which have been flying in the air ever since we made them. Today’s toilet paper roll cars craft is a perfect create-and-play craft for my kiddos (and hopefully your kiddos too!) My son always has cars in his hands and my daughter is always looking for transportation for her little dolls–now everyone is ready to roll :).

  1. What fun! I also have a stash of assorted bottle caps! Thanks for a great idea!

  2. Doing this project with my kiddos I watch, however if you glue the wheels on the cardboard they will not rotate, so i’m going to punch holes in the cardboard where wheels should go, run a straw through the holes and then glue pouch caps to the ends so that wheels will spin! So fun, thank-you for the idea, enjoy recycling items.
