To go with our Apple Activities I made some cute numbered trees that can be used for counting, addition, fine motor skills and one-to-one correspondence. One of my favorite parts of this printable is it can be used with other themes throughout the year (so they are totally worth printing)–just change your supplies to match your theme–summer cherries, spring birds, fall leaves, you name it.

We read Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3 (affiliate link) to go along with this activity which counts 1-20 and then by 10’s all the way to 100–I love how it counts past 20. My kids think this book is just as fun as Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and ask me to read it all the time. They love finding the little zero who is searching for its own special place on the apple tree.
