We can tell fall is here because the mountains look like they are on fire with vivid reds, oranges, and yellows which is why I love this time of year and can’t get enough of the fall trees. To bring some of the beauty home we grabbed some coffee filters and started crafting. This fall tree coffee filter craft is so easy, you could make a whole forest.

Colorful Fall Tree Coffee Filter Craft
Supplies:
- BUNN BCF100-B 100-Count Basket Filter
- Crayola 16 Ct Washable Watercolors
- Cardboard tube
- Glue, tape, or stapler
Directions:
First, help your child paint 2-3 coffee filters. I reminded my kids that they needed to be gentle as they painted so they didn’t rip a hole in their coffee filter and that they needed to use lots of paint because it lightens up as it dries. Set them aside to dry.
Next, bunch the coffee filters up by pinching them in the middle and attach them to the cardboard tube using glue, tape, or stapler. We used one paper towel tube and cut it in half to make two trees.
Arrange the coffee filters to look like fall foliage and set the tree down to admire. They would look adorable on a Halloween or Thanksgiving day table!
