Materials

  • Tulip life cycle printable (black and white or color)
  • Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (if using black and white version)
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Print the tulip life cycle printable in black and white for kids to color, or choose the pre-colored version for a quick activity.
  • Have kids color the tulip on each side of the foldable, and the color the pictures on each stage of the tulip life cycle.
  • Carefully cut out the printable along the outer edge. Kids can use bubble cutting around the flowers on the side (leaving a white edge around intricate parts)

    Fold the printable in the centerAt the open edge, fold one of the flowers back so the two sides meet together to form a picture of a tulip.
