- Paper plate
- Red paint or red construction
- Blue paint
- White star cutouts or star stickers
- Scissors
- Glue stick or school glue
- Paintbrush (if using paint)
Step 1: Paint it Blue Start by painting 1/4 of the paper plate blue. Step 2: Add Red and White StripesOption 1 (Painting): Let kids paint red stripes across the paper plate, leaving white spaces between for the flag’s stripes.Option 2 (Paper): Cut red construction paper into strips and glue them onto the paper plate, leaving space between each one for white stripes. Step 3: Add StarsUse white paper stars (cut out ahead of time or with a star punch) or star stickers, and glue them onto the blue section. Let it Dry & Display, once your flag is complete, set it aside to dry if painted. Then hang it up or wave it proudly!
