Painted Wooden Bunny Craft
This painted wooden bunny craft is a fun and easy Easter activity for kids that doubles as a cute DIY spring decoration.
- Blank wooden bunny shapes (This set of Wooden Easter Ornaments is perfect!)
- Acrylic Paint (I love this set Paint Set because it comes with so many colors)
- Set of 3 sponge dabbers
- Micro tip brush pen
- White pom poms or cotton balls
- Colored string (optional)
Grab your large sponge dabber and cover your whole bunny in paint. Don’t worry about being perfect—just have fun! Let your bunny dry.
Use your smallest dabber to add cute polka dots. Gently press down and give it a little twist to get nice, full circles. Let your bunny dry again.
Take your brush pen and trace around the outside of your bunny. This little detail adds fun dimension and makes your bunny pop.
Use a dab of hot glue and stick on a pom-pom or cotton ball for the cutest bunny tail ever! (Adults should use/assist with the hot glue gun)
Optional: Pick a string color that matches your bunny and get ready to display your adorable creation!
- Hang it up as an Easter ornament or door decoration
- Display it on a shelf, mantle, or windowsill
- Use it as a festive place setting or table centerpiece
- Add it to an Easter basket for a handmade touch
- String several together to create a spring or Easter garland
- Give one as a sweet gift to family, teachers, or friends
