- Silver glitter
- Craft jewels, rhinestones, sequins
- Optional: ribbon or string for hanging
Prepare the CD: Wipe off any dust or smudges so the paint and jewels stick well.
Paint the CD: Use a paintbrush to cover the shiny side with glue.
Add Sparkle: Let kids decorate their disco ball with craft jewels, rhinestones, sequins, or metallic confetti. There’s no right or wrong way, kids can create patterns or scatter pieces randomly. Then sprinkle the remaining glue with silver glitter, add more glue and glitter as needed to cover the cd. Let It Dry: Allow the glue to fully dry so the decorations stay secure. Optional: Once side one dries, you can repeat the steps and decorate the second side of the cd.
Optional Hanging Decoration: If you want to hang the disco ball, glue or tape a loop of ribbon or string to the back of the CD. Hang it up or prop it on a shelf to add some sparkle to your New Year’s countdown party.
