  • Googly eyes (optional)
  • Black marker
  • Pink crayon or marker (for cheeks)

Instructions

  • Print and cut the template Print the bee template and cut out all the pieces. Younger kids may need help with this step, or you can use the optional variations to simplify the craft or add extra fun based on their age.
  • Create the bee’s body Glue the yellow circle head and body pieces together.
  • Add the stripes Glue on the black stripe pieces. Optional: Kids can draw lines with a marker, cut their own stripes, or even tear paper to make stripes.
  • Attach the wings Glue the white wings to the back of the bee’s body so they peek out from behind.
  • Make the eyes Glue the white eye circles onto the head, then add the smaller black circles inside. Alternative: Use googly eyes or have kids draw their own eyes.
  • Draw the face Use a black marker to draw a smile. Add pink cheeks for extra cuteness!
  • Add antennae Cut a pipe cleaner in half and attach it to the top of the head to make antennae. You can curl the ends for a fun look.

Notes

Tip for Younger Kids:

For younger children, pre-cut the pieces or skip the smaller pieces and draw them instead with a marker.
