Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (if using black and white version)

Instructions
Print the butterfly life cycle printable in black and white for kids to color, or choose the pre-colored version for a quick activity.Have kids color the butterfly on each side of the foldable, and color the pictures for each stage of the butterfly life cycle.Carefully cut out the printable along the outer edge. Kids can use "bubble cutting" around the wings (leaving a small white edge around detailed areas).Optional: Fold the printable in the center. At the edge, fold one side of the butterfly back so the two sides meet together to form a complete butterfly.
