St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Craft and Free Template

Kids will have fun making a shamrock filled with rainbow colors using our free craft template, tissue paper, and creativity. It’s a perfect craft activity for kids to make this St. Patrick’s Day.

Younger kids:
Peel the backing off the contact paper. Clip the top to a clipboard and secure the bottom with a piece of tape. If you don't have a clipboard you can tape it to the table, sticky side up.
Let children stick pieces of tissue paper to the contact paper. When they are done decorating, stick the sticky part to the back of the shamrock.
Staple the contact paper to the shamrock. Cut out the shamrock and hang up to display.
Older kids:
Peel the backing off the contact paper and stick it to the back of the shamrock.

Let children stick pieces of tissue paper to the contact paper. Have them carefully tuck the pieces of contact paper under the edges of the shamrock.
When they are done cut out along the outside edge of the shamrock. If the contact paper is not sticky enough to adhere to the shamrock, staple it together. Hang it up to display.
