Painting on Clouds: No-Prep Sensory Art Activity for Kids

My daughter (age 4, preschooler) and son (age 2, toddler) both enjoyed this activity in their own special way. My daughter (Little Tiger) carefully painted on her shaving cream watching the colors spread out and grow together while my son (Little Dragon) used his hands to paint, make designs, and move the shaving cream around. However your child chooses to do it, will be great.

Pin Me Please! 🙂

Supplies:
Paint (we used water color paint)
Tray
Shaving cream
Paint brush
Cup of water to rinse brush

Directions:
1.  Squirt shaving cream on tray and let kids paint, create, and have fun!

This activity is a little messy so you may want to cover your table with a plastic table cloth and cover the kids in a painting smock. Since most of the activity consists of shaving cream, it is easy to clean up.
