If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Paper Plate Craft and Free Printables

The other day after popping a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the oven with the kids we settled down to story time with one of our favorite cookie books, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie-affiliate link by Laura Numeroff. Once the story was over and our cookies were out of the oven it seemed only natural that we make a cookie craft while we waited for our cookies to cool–yummy! To complete our If You Give a Mouse a Cookie activities I put together some free printable activities so the kids could color, practice their pre-writing, counting, and more! I remember this book when I was little and now I’m thrilled my kids are enjoy it because that little mouse is so silly, cookies are so good, and Paper Plate Crafts are so easy!

Cookie Paper Plate Craft

Supplies:

Paper plate

Brown paint

Black paint

Paint brush

Directions

Have child paint paper plate brown.

Have child add black dots for the chocolate chips. Set aside to dry, then make sure a little mouse doesn’t come by and try to sneak a bite :).
