One of my daughter’s favorite books right now is from the Pinkalicious Series-affiliate link that fits perfectly with our Earth Day activities. We made an Emeralidalicious sparkle wand nature craft to match the one from the book so we too can have magic powers like Pinkalicious to turn things into new as we go on a quest to clean up the earth. Since we made our wands my daughter has been waving it around “turning everything pink and new” with a point of her wand.
Emeraldalicious (affiliate link) is a wonderful Earth Day story by Victoria Kann that helps Pinkalicious and her brother Peter reuse and recycle garbage to make a beautiful park full of Emeraldalicious surprises.
Madame Alexander Washable Pinkalicious Doll(affiliate link) if your kiddo loves Pinkalicious as much as my kiddo does this is a great find!
Emeraldalicious Sparkle Wand Nature Craft
Green craft paper
Pink tissue paper
Green glitter-affiliate link (We used the dark green one out of this set by American Crafts)
Draw two hearts on the green craft paper and cut them out.
Glue a piece of tissue paper onto the back of one of the hearts, and then spread glue and sprinkle glitter on the front of the heart.
Glue the two hearts to the top of the stick and trim the pink tissue paper to look like lace around the green heart. Let the glue dry.
Wrap a piece of twine around the stick and tie a bow to complete the craft and let the Earth Day magic begin!
