We turned an old 2 liter soda bottle into a beautiful rainbow that seems to glow when held in the light. I love using things around the house to make art; it saves money and is fun. I was going to use our soda bottle for a different activity but as I was cutting it up this Rainbow Soda Bottle and Tissue Paper Craft came together perfectly instead. My little preschooler, (Ms. Tiger age 3 at the time) loved painting on the tissue paper. When her rainbow was done she would hold it up by the window and watch the sunlight shine through the colorful paper.Rainbow Soda Bottle Craft for Kids: An easy and cute recycled craft to make with kids using tissue paper and glue.

Rainbows are a great way to teach colors without feeling like a formal lesson. While we were crafting we talked about all the different colors that appear in a rainbow and the order in which
they appear. After we were done, we pulled out a prism to make rainbows on the wall and chase them around the room.

3.  Cut the tissue paper into small squares and prepare glue by mixing it with a bit of water to make it easier to brush on.
