As we were learning about the 4 Seasons we had a whole bunch of seeds that looked like fall leaves so I decided to gather some more natural craft supplies and we painted 4 trees to depict spring, summer, winter, and fall. You can adapt our craft supply list to use whatever you can find outside or in your supply closet. Each tree will end up beautiful!

4 Seasons Nature Tree Craft

Pin me please! 🙂

Supplies:
Brown paint
Paint brush
Blue craft paper
Glue

Nature Supply Ideas:
Spring: Dried split peas, leaves, grass
Summer: Corn, flowers
Fall: Seeds, leaves
Winter: White sand, cotton balls

(Go on a nature walk, then use what craft supplies you can find)

Directions:
1.  Fold paper in half (hot dog style) and in half again (hamburger style) to make 4 squares.
2.  Paint one tree in each square.

3.  Give children craft supplies and have them glue them to their trees. Make sure they know which tree represents which season. You can choose to let them design their own tree, or designate one craft supply for each tree. I had the kids decorate their trees the same way, and then I let them make a tree however they wanted using all the craft supplies.
